Desert camping trip 04/06/08

Knowing we could not get a campsite at Palm Canyon. Noah & I spent the night @ Bow willow campground just off I-8 on S2. In the morning we left Bow Willow on our way to Palm Canyon. We decided stop in at Palm Spring. While there I shared some of the old stories from there with him.



Then, we continued to Anza-Borego it was getting late so we had lunch at the Palm Canyon Trail head before heading up the old famous trail. It took us about an hour to reach the Palm Oasis. It was hot 85 + So the palms shade brought a welcome break. After we cooled off we headed back. It was wonderful to show him some of our old family haunts. :)
