After being off from school for a week. Noah goes back to school tomorrow. The fires have died down and the air quality is returning to normal. :)

Halloween carnival 2007

Noah enjoyed his Halloween carnival @ school. He we see him jumping down the 30' air slide.

TGIF The local fire is subsiding

Good news, the local Witch creek fire is subsiding. The air is beginning to clear here.

Witch Canyon fire day 3

WE still surviving this awful firestorm. My brother checked yesterday and his house is still there. They are still not allowed to return home. We were never in danger here in Mira Mesa, Just a lot of smoke and ash :(

Smoky sunrise yesterday. 300,000 people evacuated. We packed our stuff due to a false alarm/ wrong info on the TV news. WE never were in danger. WWsshhewww

Witch Canyon Fire!

There is a really big fire in town. My brother Gary had to evacuate to Dad's house in Coronado. We are OK here, if fact our local high school is an evacuation center. Noah's school was closed today, too much smoke for the kiddies.

Soccer game in the rain

Well it actually stopped raining before we started, but it was very wet and muddy!
We played a good game but lost 5-6.

Dad's club put on Math night last night!

The Sandburg Dad's club ( I'm the club president) Put on family Math night, last night. It was a big success! Everybody had fun with math!!

Astro Camp

Noah and I camped out at our astronomy camp the weekend. We added this light fixture to keep the well pump from freezing :)
