Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving Day in Coronado was fun. Dawn made a lemon meringue pie, deviled eggs and a green bean casserole. Dinner with the family was great! While waiting for dinner Noah took his first skateboard ride while at the park.

Off to Astronomy camp
Noah & I leave this morning for Astronomy camp. Looks like it will be cloudy and cool. Good for camping, not so good for astronomy. Still fun all the same!

USA Women's Soccer Team Earns Gold
Today the USA Women's Soccer Team Earned the Gold medal. It was a long tough fight. Hope Solo helped hold the Brazilians scoreless for two hours. It was an amazing team effort.

Top Gun Soccer Tournament
The Top Gun Soccer Tournament is in town this weekend. 166 teams came to play on out 20 fields around Mira Mesa. I am working the u12g field today, off tomorrow. U10G finals on Monday.

Soccer Saturday, We Won 10-0
The team played very well today. We Won 10-0. Sophia scored 2, Raylyn-3, David 2, Vincent-1, Dalong and Noah scored their first goals of the season.

Lunch on the beach
I was working in Torrey Pines today. I took my lunch down to the beach. This is a very beautiful city we live in. Take the time to smell the surf:)

Desert camping trip 04/06/08
Knowing we could not get a campsite at Palm Canyon. Noah & I spent the night @ Bow willow campground just off I-8 on S2. In the morning we left Bow Willow on our way to Palm Canyon. We decided stop in at Palm Spring. While there I shared some of the old stories from there with him.
Then, we continued to Anza-Borego it was getting late so we had lunch at the Palm Canyon Trail head before heading up the old famous trail. It took us about an hour to reach the Palm Oasis. It was hot 85 + So the palms shade brought a welcome break. After we cooled off we headed back. It was wonderful to show him some of our old family haunts. :)

Soccer win today
Noah's team won 4-2 today. We enjoyed control during the whole game. Letting Two goals in the last quarter while playing a weak defense. Later when we got home, Noah & I went for a swim to cool off :-)

Spring Soccer 2008 Game 1
We won the first game of the Spring season today4-1. Raylyn scored 2 goals early on. Then, Sophia took a turn. In the third quarter I put Vincent forward and he scored one. In the last few minutes we played a weak D and they scored one..It was a gift ;)
